Looking for reviews of Hengar Manor Country Park? The following Hengar Manor Country Park reviews have been submitted.
I live locally and have been to Hengar Manor countless times over the years for swimming and food. I must say the pool needs a good scrub! I've been a few times over the past few months and the pool is always freezing, it never feels clean. Tiles in the pool always seem a bit slimy as does the tiling round the pool, could do with a pressure wash. The slide has been there since I was a child and most times I've been recently it has been blocked off. They remodelled the changing rooms sometime in the 2000's and the new ones already look dated with malfunctioning showers freezing cold to scolding hot.Just doesn't have the same feel to it as when I was a child, it is far more run down and grubby though arguably probably had more visitors back then. I think the pool is the thing which needs most improvements especially as many locals use it, could do with a whole new one if I'm honest. I feel the bar is overpriced as well as the food, especially considering the quality of it, I think the prices should be adjusted with regards to food and the menu could use a better variety of foods.
Great place to stay. Best thing about the site is the staff. Always friendly and helpful
We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was as good as you could hope for- spacious, clean and had all the necessities. Couldn’t fault the food, drink staff or the effort they put into the entertainment.
We stayed in Oak Lodge and were really impressed. All of the facilities were well maintained and the staff were great with the kids. The children really enjoyed the pool and the entertainment too. For what we paid, I feel it was very good value.
The setting is beautiful and the staff are fantastic. They were friendly yet professional. The hot tub was always the perfect temperature and very much enjoyed.
