Lovely site, very well kept. The pool was closed due to the time of year which is understandable but it looks great. Beautiful little restaurant and bar serving food and drink, spotless clean and the staff are all lovely. The views from the site are breathtaking and the toilet/shower block is also spotless clean and very well equipped. So peaceful and tranquil here. I will definitely return. Highly recommended
It's a really great place for relaxing and entertainment at weekends
Cracking spot with beautiful views. Excellent food at clubhouse & entertainment
It's down a narrow road has spectacular views coming in to and from with in the holiday park, at first glance it was really nice, well laid out and seemed to be kept clean and tidy, but after 2 days camping, the toilets all have showers so floors are always soaking and don't have floor drains so it's not dried until it is cleaned by staff, laundry / sink area is small for the size of the place, has 2 washing machines, 2 tumble dryers and 2 sinks in a small room. Camping plots are good but in the middle is the only real large grass area. Swimming pool yet again at first glance looked great, kids pool is small enough for max 5 kids says under 5's only, big pool is 4ft deep so not all 6 plus kids can touch the ground, you have to prebook but not everyone does and it ruins it because it's too many people for a small space which with it being unsupervised makes it a nightmare, not everyone cares about the rules which yet again ruins it. The flooring around the pool is disgusting and covered in hair. Has 2 good sized changing rooms, a toilet and an open shower, has a hot tub but that was ruined by kids going in with adults even though it says over 18's only. Has a bistro and bar, which was average. Staff seemed helpful, reception has a small shop, which is reasonably priced. Caravan owners on site were lovely and offered help in the torrential rain. Has good / bad, probably would go again but out with children's holidays. My kids loved the wee play park next to the campsite.
Visited with our Touring Caravan. Lovely park, great walks. Lovely river runs past the park too. Only downside was the slots seems very close to the caravan or campervan next to you.
