This place really deserves a 5* and on any normal weekend it probably would have done... However... We stayed here over the bank holiday weekend and there was one particular group who put a dampener on our weekend. Usually I'd say this was fine... However, when you complain to management about a group on a family camp site who are shouting and swearing at 1.30am to be told security had been to see them 3 times already you start to wonder why they did nothing to stop them. Then when it came to the second night and they are still doing the same, well that simply amazes me that they were left to do what they wanted and were not ejected from the site the following morning. Worst of all, when the complaint was made on the second night they knew nothing about the complaint on the first and told us we should have complained earlier. Really Croft Farm? Perhaps you need to communicate these issues. When children are woken up early in the morning by swearing drunk adults the day time fun isn't quite so good. The site itself was wonderful. The lake is great, the showers were ok, although they could do with a few more if that is the usual filling up of the camp... It's just a shame that our weekend was ruined by a few and management didn't seem to think it was important enough to do anything about it.
All there just awesome. Lake the plaice were we are. All spot on...just get a tent make shore u have enough the fire logs and enjoy every minute there. Toilet and shower on side. Sinks and all so free to use....
After a spell of almost 3 years since we were last there, we returned this weekend. It was everything we remembered and hoped for.Friendly people and staff. Some familiar faces some new. Thanks again all, will see you soon
The people who run the water activity’s are great and so hwlofullC however the people running that actual site are so rude and unhelpful, the rules and policy’s changes from day to day when we come, one day I payed £5 entry by card at reception, and the next I was told only cash, and when I explained I had payed the previous day by the card the man serving me rudely said “well today you can’t” and took my friends cash refusing his changed forcing my friend to pay for all 3 of us. Really disappointing customer service, treating customers particularly bad if you’re not a family or over the age of 30.
Had a great time here. The location is wonderful. The toilets /shower block needed a bit of a clean. But Easley sorted. No convenience shop on site. So bring all your groceries. A 2 mile walk to tweksbury for provisions along a busy A road with no footpath.
