John Fowler Holidays, headquartered in Devon and which owns 11 holiday parks throughout Devon, Cornwall and Somerset, has received a multi million-pound finance package to build 180 luxury lodges at two of their sites: St Ives Holiday Village in Cornwall and Sandy Meadows Holiday Park in Somerset.

St Ives Holiday Village, which is set in over 100 acres of mature woodland, has seen the addition of 140 luxury holiday lodges, many of which offer private hot tubs, include self-catering facilities and woodland views. The park layout itself has also seen a redevelopment and the investment has created twelve new jobs. This David Bellamy Silver Award park offers the space and seclusion for the perfect Cornish holiday, with a choice of accommodation to suit every need. The village offers great value family holidays, packed with fun things to do, day and night. This is an ideal touring centre for exploring Cornwall at its best: nearby are magnificent beaches, secluded coves, picturesque towns and sub tropical gardens. For full details and to check availability, please visit our St Ives Holiday Village page.

Meanwhile, at Sandy Meadows Holiday Park, which is located just across the road from the beach and close to the Cheddar Gorge, is a new site for the operator and has added 40 new luxury lodges, each with balconies, hot tubs and countryside views. The new lodges have created three new jobs. The park is set on the beautiful Somerset coast, just yards from the fabulous dunes and sandy beaches of Berrow and Brean. There is a choice of two, three and four bedroom luxury lodges, each offering an ideal retreat with some boasting outdoor hot tubs. For full details, please check our Sandy Meadows Holiday Park page.

The development has been made possible thanks to financial backing from the operator’s bank, HSBC, who has seen John Fowler Holidays go from strength-to-strength over the years. These two projects are not only creating jobs in the local economy but also helping to sustain the business for many years to come.
